Dear
Future Fluent Spanish Speaker,
I
personally think there's a huge problem out there
for people who want to quickly and easily learn to
speak Real Latin American Spanish. I'm
talking about the type of Spanish spoken in Central
America, South America, the Spanish-speaking
Caribbean and in the US.
...And I'm
guessing that you're reading this page because you
too have faced the same problems that I'll talk
about soon.
Now... It's not that there aren't enough
learning Spanish courses out there...
Actually.... like me, you probably own several
copies of other popular learning Spanish courses
that promised to make you fluent in months,
weeks, days, hours, or even minutes.
My guess
is that these courses are sitting on a bookshelf
somewhere in your house collecting dust!
For some of you, these courses may be sitting on
your hard drive with a "last access date" time
stamp of well over a year or more.
Obviously, they have fallen short of keeping
their promises....
So, what's the problem Patrick?
Well, for
starters, there is too much memorization involved
with these learning Spanish courses.Using
that approach to learning anything (let alone a
language) is extremely impractical!
Think of it, how did you learn your native
language? It definitely was not by
memorization! Not at all! Instead
you would hear your parents or caregiver talk
and you would try to mimic the words until they
became ingrained in your head.
This is a natural way to learn to speak any
language!
In May '05 I
decided I wanted to go to Nicaragua. I made
reservations to leave in late July, and stay
for two weeks. I could speak about 20 words
of Spanish, left over from Jr. High School
many years ago.
A friend who
teaches Spanish lent me her curriculum,
which I dutifully plugged through. In two
months, I picked up enough to get around,
but I was far from being able to
communicate. After I returned, with plans to
return to Nicaragua on a semi-permanent
basis in Sept. 06, I was desperate to really
learn the language. That's when I found LSLC.
I downloaded
Level 1 to my trusty mp3 player, and from
that moment on, I was seldom without it. It
is safe to say, without exaggerating, that
LSLC enabled me to successfully communicate
in Spanish. Sure, I still have a ways to go
before I'm "fluent". But after working
through Level 1, I can hold my own in most
situations, and am confident of my grasp of
rudimentary grammar. All I can say is, it's
worth every penny, and I cannot wait to
begin Level 2.
Lauren S.
Homer, Alaska
Secondly, the type of Spanish you have attempted
to learn just seem so impractical when you try
to put it to use. I mean, you went
as far as memorizing some of the tedious words
and phrases, but when it comes time to put them
to use (what I like to call "game time"),
you just don't seem to be able to communicate
with your amigos. In other words, you
can't get your "game on." This
leads you to become even more frustrated than
you were when you were trying to memorize all
these "impractical" words and phrases.
"¿Qué pasa con eso?,"...I mean, "what's up with
that?"
Last but
not least... when you do use your newly acquired
Spanish words and phrases with your Native Latin
American amigos, they don't really understand
you. In fact, often times they correct you
and say things like
"it's
better to say it this way . . . that's how we say
it in my country,"
or, "traqnquilo!" (relax!) "you don't
have to try to sound like you're speaking
Spanish from a textbook."
Now, I
want you to stop and think for one minute;
do any of these situations describe your
experience in trying to speak Spanish??? The type
of Spanish you hear in your neighborhood or
when you are on vacation in Mexico, or any other
country in
Latin America?
So....No!! The problem is not that there aren't
enough learning Spanish courses on the market
today.The real problem is that
these courses don't help people who want to
quickly and easily learn to speak Real Latin
American Spanish.
I'm
talking about the type of Spanish spoken in the
US and in Latin America...
The type
of Spanish that:
Teaches practical useful Spanish
that you can put to use right
away in real-life situations.
Has Content that has been
developed and recorded by Native
Latin Americans. How can you
learn Latin American Spanish
from someone who is not a native
of Latin America? The
answer is you can not!!
Can be used
to communicate with a College
Educated Native Latin Americans
as well as with the every day
common person.
Can allow you to understand
when you hear something on a
Spanish radio station or watch
something on a Spanish TV
Channel.
Can
allow you to communicate
when you travel to Central
or South America or the
Spanish-speaking Caribbean without
feeling the frustration that
comes from not being
understood when you speak
Spanish or even worse not
understanding what someone
is saying to you.
Allows you to crush your
learning curve and
accelerate your learning of
Spanish with the most
effective learning Spanish
techniques.
Is audio
based and can be used
on-the-go, with no boring
text book and exercises to
do. I don't know about
you, but, when I learned to
speak as a baby, my parents
did not put a textbook in
my hands and said "here
Patrick, do these exercises
so you can learn to speak to
us."
Can help you learn Spanish at a
comfortable pace without
the tedious word and phrase
memorization techniques used
by most of the so called
"top" leading Spanish courses in
the market.
...And I
realized this dilemma back in 1997 when I first
embarked on my journey to learn Spanish.
For me,
learning Spanish first
began as a hobby... But quickly grew into a
passion and a true desire to become fluent in
the type of Spanish that I heard in the streets
of New York City and during my vacation trips to
Latin America.
So I went
on a rampage; buying every single Spanish course
I could find (name the Spanish course and I'm sure
I have it, especially the so-called "top"
learning-Spanish courses). I spent
thousands of dollars trying to find that ONE
COURSE. You know the one I'm talking
about!
The
same one you've been looking for but have not
found yet!
I devoured
every minute of the audio portions and read
every single word of the printed materials.
I even labeled different
objects around my apartment in Spanish.
Like "mesa" for table, "baño," for bathroom,
etc. and I would form sentences in Spanish with
these objects. Like "tengo que ir al
baño" which means "I have to go to the
bathroom."
I would then
take
my newly learned Spanish words and phrases
around New York City...from Spanish Harlem to
the Bronx, to Washington Heights, to my native
Queens, and even Brooklyn. Here I was
talking about, "Yo Hablo Castellano," and
speaking in formal "How do you do?" Spanish to
people from Colombia, Mexico, Puerto Rico,
Dominican Republic, Cuba and other parts of
Latin America -- and they were looking at
me as if I was speaking Spanish from another
planet!
When I was lucky enough for them
to understand some of my Spanish, it was was so
bad that they insisted on speaking back to me in
English – even the
ones that couldn’t speak English well! To them my Spanish must
have sounded as though I was scratching my nails
across a blackboard. Horrific!
This really shouldn't surprise you.
That's
because most of the Spanish courses you have
sitting on your book shelves right now weren't
developed by Latin Americans and have you
sounding like you speak Spanish from another
planet too!
Oh No! - It
Finally Happened - What I Dreaded Most
I will never forget the night. It was a
little more than 8 years ago. I was standing on
line by myself at a movie theatre waiting to buy
my ticket. Standing next to me was the most
beautiful Latin woman I had ever seen. From the
conversation she was having with her female
friend, I could tell that the two of them were both natives
of Latin
America.
I decided that this was the perfect
opportunity to meet the woman of my dreams. I
figured I’d charm her with my Spanish. That
would really impress her.
I am not sure which of the following two
lines did it. Maybe it happened when I said:
Yo hablo Castellano.
Or maybe it happened when I said:
Me gustan las rosettas de maiz
(I like popcorn).
(By the way, both of the above lines I
learned from some of the “top” learning-Spanish
courses.)
It was right after I said one of those two
lines that both women broke out in
uncontrollable laughter.
They were absolutely hysterical.
I thought an ambulance was going to have to come
and take them away if they didn’t stop laughing.
There was only one word to describe my mood
at the time...
EMBARRASSMENT!!!
Through all their laughter, I was unable to
understand what they were saying to each other
in Spanish. But I did somehow recognize one word
that they kept saying repeatedly to each other.
That word was
GRINGO.
*Above is the complete, A-to-Z, step-by-step
Learning Spanish Like Crazy course on how you
can begin speaking real Latin American Spanish
as easily and as quickly as a child learns a
native Language... Starting even on the very
first day!
"My
Spanish Was So Awful That I
Was Called a GRINGO By Latin
Americans..."
Are you familiar with the
word
GRINGO?
One of my Spanish dictionaries
define GRINGO as an
“offensive or
derogatory term used in
Latin America to describe a
North
American or English speaker
that attempts to speak
Spanish.”
I cannot remember a
time in my entire life when
I was more HUMILIATED and
EMBARRASSED.
It’s been well over eight
years now. And to this day,
I have not stepped foot back
in that same movie theatre.
That same evening, I
called a friend that’s a
native of Latin America and
told him what had happened
to me. After having to
endure his cruel laughter
for several minutes, he
finally explained to me that
the Spanish that I was
“trying” to speak was so
out-dated and so formal that
it was ridiculously funny.
He also said that
Spanish-speakers from Latin
American don’t speak that
way. As he explained, maybe
in some remote part of Spain
there is an elite group of
people that still uses that
form of Spanish.
And with very few
exceptions, there isn’t
anyone on this side of the
Atlantic that would say
“Hablo Castellano” in order
to say
“I speak Spanish.” And no
one from Latin America would call
popcorn "rosettas de maiz" –
unless of course
they were looking to make
someone laugh hysterically.
My friend from Latin America friend
explained it to me another
way too. He said that when
he first arrived in the
U.S., a learning-English
course taught him to ask
“How do you do?” in order to
ask about someone’s health
or when meeting someone for
the first time.
But in his thirteen years
of living in the U.S. no one
ever asked him “How do you
do?” It was either “How are
you?” or "How you doing?"
Who knows? Maybe
somewhere in England people
still ask “How do you do?”
But not in the U.S..
And
you know what?? He was 100%
correct!!
I had definitely been
using the "How Do You Do?"
type of Spanish.
I became so angry at this
revelation. I mean, I had
spent so much time and money
learning the type of Spanish that
no one in the Americas
speaks -- and that no one in
the Americas understands.
Then I
said to myself "Patrick,
you've got two choices; one...you can give up
right now and forget about
learning Spanish, or,
two...Keep your passion
for learning Spanish alive
and figure out a way to
become fluent in Real Latin
American Spanish."
I don't
know... maybe you are at
this very same cross road
right now in your pursuit of
Spanish fluency... If so,
don't give up just yet,
there is definitely hope and
a proven method at the end
of this page...
Anyway, being the type of
person
that doesn't give up easily,
I chose option number two.
This meant that I would have
tosomehow, someway, come up
with a method that would
help me become fluent in
Spanish -- not just any
Spanish but real Latin
American Spanish.
So I decided to begin
dissecting all of the
Spanish courses that I
had used in the past.
One-by-one, I analyzed each
one and "borrowed" the
learning-Spanish techniques
that I thought would be most
helpful. And I trashed all
the techniques that I
thought were useless.
Finally, I had developed
The Method.
But there was still one
thing missing . . .
And
finally... I did it... I
came up with The Method. . . a learning Spanish
method that could guarantee
that anyone could become
conversational or fluent in
Spanish. . . But something
very important was still
missing . . .
Like I said before, you
cannot learn real Latin
American Spanish unless you
are learning from a real
Latin American.
So I called
on several native Latin
American friends who are
professional Spanish
instructors. I practically
begged, bribed, and
threatened them to supply
the content (the Spanish)
that I would use with The
Method.
I demanded
that the content (or the
Spanish) for The Method had
to be nothing but
the real Spanish.
Not the
impractical Spanish that I
had spent so many years learning --
and that had caused me so much
embarrassment.
And I insisted that my
friends from Latin America
give me content that
consisted of the same vocabulary,
phrases, and expressions that they use when
speaking to each other. The
exact same Spanish that they
use when they are speaking
to their friends and family
members. Content that consisted of
nothing
but Real Latin American
Spanish.
And definitely none of that
Diplomatic Spanish crap!
And Last BUT NOT least
important . . .
I insisted that the Spanish grammar had to be 100%
correct and good enough to
converse with
college-educated Latin
Americans.
I also demanded that the
content consist of conversational
Spanish -- but NOT
slang. Do you know what I
mean by "conversational
Spanish"? Spanish that
you can put to immediate use
-- no matter if you're
talking to a
college-educated person or
someone on the street.
I am talking about practical
Spanish. Spanish that you
can use in real live
everyday situations that you
may come across in Latin
America -- or even in the
U.S.
That was nearly 4 years
ago. I have now shut
down my law practice and I
am committed to helping
others learn how to speak
real Latin American Spanish
-- with the same Method that
has taught thousands.
And that's how this all
started . . .
Learning
Spanish Like Crazy (LSLC)
The only course that teaches
you Real Latin American

is guaranteed to teach
you too!!!

"I am very frugal, so I initially
researched various Spanish language tools by reading countless
reviews, and borrowing materials from the library; before
finally deciding to purchase Learning Spanish Like Crazy. I have
never regretted my decision! Patrick delivers on his promise.
His method has finally enabled me to break out of beginner
Spanish, while living in the Midwest! He is constantly improving
the program, and his customer service is excellent! Each lesson
builds on the next to gradually teach you to understand and
converse with native speakers. My Latino friends have even

"My name is Steve from Chino, California. I
needed to learn how to speak Spanish to aid in my monthly church
trips to Ensenada, Mexico. The group that I belong to works with
orphanages, battered women’s shelters, drug rehab centers and
churches. I started using LSLC after finishing Pimsleur Spanish
I, II, & III. I was able to communicate on a basic level after I
finished the three Pimsleur courses. I was far from fluent, but
a lot better off than before the courses. LSLC has changed my
Spanish greatly. I feel like I have graduated from junior
Spanish and moved up to the big leagues. I am now able to hold
meaningful conversations with the people in Mexico. It was great
knowing how to get to the bathroom or how to ask for more food
at lunch, but now to develop actual relationships with the local
people is incredible! My Mexican friends are amazed each month
at the improvement in my Spanish from the previous trip. I know
that there are a lot of you who have used other courses and had
some success. I also know that you are probably frustrated
because you don’t feel like you can really speak Spanish. Let me
assure you that if you are willing to put in some time you can
develop your Spanish to the level that I have or beyond."

sobre LearningSpanishLikeCrazy. Primero yo quiero decir que la
empresa LearningSpanishLikeCrazy siempre mantiene su buena
reputación. Segundo, las lecciónes que ellos enseñan me han
salvado mucho tiempo, problemas, y plata.
Yo me puedo identificar
¡Trato
hecho!

This course alone is
more than 17 hours
of recorded Latin

lessons.
There are tens

even hundreds of
thousands) of people that have
paid $200 or more
for a copy of the FSI

"Actually No!
I'll also send
you 11 CDs of

Level 2 of FSI
Programmatic is
ideal when you reach
Intermediate level
(which should be
soon!) By then, you
will have an
exposure to the
Spanish
"subjunctive" mood
and what it takes to
learn it fully.
Well,
Level 2 of FSI
Programmatic Spanish
takes you where
you've never been
before with the
"Subjunctive" mood.It
effectively uses
examples to teach
you the Spanish
Subjunctive mood
making this topic as
easy as a walk

"What Else you Got
Patrick?"
I hear you saying
under your breath.
"You know what?
My goal is to
expose you to
the material I
used to become
fluent in
Spanish.
So, I'm going to
send you one of
the Secret
Weapons I used
back in the late
'90's to help me
become fluent in
Spanish."
Many people have
asked me how did I
learn Spanish so
quickly. This is one
of my best kept
secrets. Before now
-- I have never
revealed this secret
to anyone. FSI
Spanish Fast Course
is one of the main
courses that helped
me learn Spanish so
fast.
This is the latest
Spanish course
developed by the
U.S. Department of
State's Foreign
Service Institute.
It is a 6 CD course
with a PDF text file
that contains the
Fast Course
textbook.
Am I the only one in the
general population that has
gotten his hands on this course . . .?
Who knows?
But since its
release, FSI Fast
Course Spanish was
not sold to the
general public on
the Net or anywhere
else.
And to my knowledge
-- to this day -- no
one else on the Net
or anywhere else is
selling it but us!
That's because this
Spanish course is so
good that the U.S.
Government hasn't
told anyone else
about it. They have
kept this Spanish
course to
themselves. They
have only used it to
teach diplomats, CIA
agents, FBI agents
and DEA (Drug
Enforcement Agency)
agents and other
U.S. government
personnel that have
to learn Spanish
lightning fast!
"Patrick, How Did
You Get Your Hands
On This?"
You may be
asking.
"You know what?
This is one
question that I
am not going to
answer.
I'll take that
answer to my
grave."
"Patrick, Why Am I
Getting So Many
"Spanish" Courses
with the LSLC
Method?"
"I'll answer this
question with one
simple word.
Immersion!!"
If you REALLY want
to learn Spanish as
quickly and easily
as possible, then
you need to be
immersed in the
language AS MUCH AS
POSSIBLE.
For many, moving to
a Latin American
country is out of
the question. But by
combining LSLC with
the FSI courses and
immersing yourself
in these courses --
you will be amazed
at how quickly
you'll begin
speaking Spanish
with confidence.
"My Simple, No Hassle, 8 Weeks Full Money Back Guarantee ."

"Is this the right
Course For
Everyone?"
"As much as I would
love to answer this
with a simple
yes.... the answer
is a resounding
NO!"
This
course
is not
for you
if...
You want to learn just a few words in Spanish to order a Margarita when you take you next trip to Cancun.
You want to learn the formal "How-Do-You-Do Spanish" or learn to speak like a Diplomat.
You want to learn the same Spanish that the King of Spain spoke during 14th century Spain!
But it is for those
people that want to
use the most
effective
learning-Spanish
Method. . .And for those that
want to
learn the real
Spanish that Latin
Americans speak
throughout South
America, Central
America, the
Caribbean, and the
United States
. . .

are yours: "
Bonus
Gift #1.
Get LSLC now
and you'll
also get
“Los Dichos”
and "“Los
Insultos –
No Vulgares”
by
download.
"Los Dichos"
are common
sayings that
Spanish-speakers
use.
And
“Los Insultos –
No Vulgares”
are
non-vulgar
insults that
any
English-speaker
needs to be
able to
recognize
before
traveling to
a
Spanish-speaking
country (or
a
Spanish-speaking
neighborhood
in the U.S.)
Bonus Gift
#2.
“Los
Insultos –
Vulgares” by
download.
This bonus
isn’t for
everyone.
These are
extremely
vulgar
insults
(and
downloading
these
insults is
completely
optional.)
Of course,
you would
never want
to use any
of these
insults on a
Spanish
speaker from Latin
America
(unless
you're
looking to
take a trip
to the
hospital)
But if
someone
should ever
use any of
these
insults on
you, at
least you'll
understand
what he or
she is
saying.
Bonus
Gift #3.
You get
life-time
access
to one
of our
online
native
Spanish-instructors.
Just
post
your
questions
on our
private
message
board
(forum)
and
she'll
be there
to
answer
any
questions
that you
have
about
Spanish
vocabulary
and
grammar.
My
partner
thought
that I
was
crazy to
offer
this as
a free
bonus.
He said
that you
should
have to
pay
extra
money
every
month
for
online
support
from an
experienced
Spanish
instructor.
But I
insisted.
Trust me
. . . I
know
from
personal
experience.
Remember

de Maiz
fiasco?
Bonus Gift
#4.
You
also get
life-time
access to
our LSLC
forum
(message
board). One
of the
greatest
challenges
that I have had
to learning
Spanish was
staying
motivated.
With the LSLC message
board you
have a whole
community of
people using
the LSLC
method. You
can post
questions
and answers
to each
other. You
can exchange
tips for
learning
Spanish with
each other.
Some members
even
exchange
recipes for
Latin
American
dishes. But
most
important
. . .
you no
longer have
only
yourself to
keep you
motivated.
You now have
a whole
community of
learners
behind you
to keep you
motivated.
